Born in Spain in 1988, Ivan Fernandez is an architect and artist. Ivan moved to Sweden in 2014, where he connected with Scandinavian architecture and design. He has worked as an architect and creative lead since then.
With over 12 years of experience in architecture and retail design, Ivan has worked with multiple clients, both in-house and as a consultant, such as OAB, Arket, Byredo, STC... He obtained his architecture degree with honours in 2013 and completed his final project while working at OAB, the office of Architecture in Barcelona, led by Carlos Ferrater. One year later he completed a Master`s degree in Space Management at the UAL, the University of the Arts of London.
His expertise lies in architecture, concept and furniture design. His services span from ideation to execution. As part of his practice, Ivan also designs and makes limited-edition furniture pieces, and he paints too.
Ivan is currently based in Barcelona and Stockholm.
